Viktar Martavitski

Automation-first IT transformation

I help growing companies put their IT in order and automate the requests that come in every day.

About me

I’ve worked in IT for 20 years, in gamedev, fintech, logistics and IT services. I started as a sysadmin in Minsk and have since run IT for companies with thousands of employees.

Most recently I led the transformation of Playrix’s global IT: 2,500+ people in 10 offices, one service organisation instead of scattered teams.

Today I run CT Core, my ITSM consultancy, and I’m CTO and co-founder of SimplYou. I also build Threadmaker, a Jira and Slack integration.

How I work

Automate what repeats

A large share of tickets at Playrix were the same requests over and over, mostly access and onboarding. We moved them to AD/SCIM integrations and AI agents, so the team could spend its time on problems that need a person.

Drop approvals that protect nothing

Line managers used to approve access to non-critical services ticket by ticket. Access templates by job role replaced those approvals and removed about 1,200 tickets a month.

Show what IT costs

At Wargaming I built the CMDB for production and an infrastructure cost model on top of it, so financial reporting could rely on real data.
